The thing is, to be honest.. I was a little bit in a rut. I lost inspiration, I got depressed, and I felt like it was over for me as far as photography was concerned.

I started to lose contacts with good clients, good networking with models and agents blew away in the wind, and the rise of other talented photographers in South Florida began to slowly eat at me.

But something happened…. humans are instinctual creatures, and what we are capable of doing is limitless. Something brought back a great amount of drive into my life that i had been missing, and I hit the floor running.

2012 is going to be my BIG year, and no one or thing will get in my way :) I’ve had a few things in the works that i’ve been working on, and can’t reveal too much due to confidentiality reasons. One thing I can say, is stay tuned.

In starting this year right, I kept it traditional. Family first. My first shoot was with DJ Cool Mike of 99 JAMZ (aka my older brother). This isn’t just my year.. its his as well, and his breaking out in a big way. Be on the lookout for his upcoming campaign and mix tapes. They are both sure not to disappoint!

Being held at Markham Park in Fort Lauderdale. I remember coming over the first hill in the park and seeing a valley of imports everywhere! Flush wheels, rolled fenders, bandage stickers, pink wheels… you name it, it was there! Big players like Vossen wheels, Strasse Forged, ADV.1 made huge showings out there, and had their crews to back them up. All in all, an excellent meet, with an excellent turnout. It’s sure been a while since I’ve updated, lol. However, I haven’t stopped shooting. This past weekend, I had a photo shoot with Natalia Bueno, the spokes model for Ravish Sands Swimwear. Shoot went great! Great photos and a peak behind the scenes to see how we all worked infront and behind the camera!

Haven’t been slacking ya know! Been working on a new site. I’m getting back to wedding photography! Check out the new site at http://www.ecstylez.com/wedding. I’ve shot weddings in the past…. decided not to do it again because of unneeded drama with a family wedding (funny how things always happen that way, lol). But hey, i figured…. you live and you learn.

Anyhow, I decided to make a conscious effort to return back to wedding photography, and who was my source of inspiration? lol.. a photographer who goes by the name of Sean Flanigan. Dude’s got sick work!

Anyhow, I hope to have some weddings to show in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled :)

Been linking up with DJ Billy Gotti quite a bit lately. Some may know him from Exit 66 Pool Parties, other’s may know him from Dolce or the main room in Passions night club.

Did a shoot at Downtown Loft Studio mid last week for his new website and promotional material. Shoot went great! Lots of laughs and found out the we all have more mutual friends than expected, lol.

Hey folks,

The shooting bug is back, and i’m trying to stay as productive as ever! I started off the year just as slow as I ended it, and I ironically, I shot the same person I ended with, lol, Valentina Gaines.

You may remember me blogging about the last shoot that I did with her…. I showed up to the shoot with a dead Vagabond battery and we still got the shots! This time, I had a full battery, and we got even more great shots. This girl can pose! 4 outfits in 2 hours, that’s a person record for me. More shoots with Valentina coming in the near future.

But this just had to be seen. I’m browsing through some ads on Google when I see “new commercial” Verizon ‘pwnz’ AT&T with their iPhone…..

I’ve seen all the other versus commercials, but this one sounded like a severe kick in the nuts to the previous carrier.

I saw the video… and i lul’d. “I can hear you, NOW” haha! Wow, can’t wait to see how this pans out in the next few months. I love Verizon, and I love Apple, and this just made my day, haha. See for yourself!

He said come along, your boy Billy Gotti is the Dj tonight. I figured, hey, its a bit chilly, but it could be fun to snap some pics… As soon as I walk in, I see an MMA match taking place in the middle of the dance floor! The last thing, and yet the coolest thing I have ever expected to see in a lounge. Definitely set the bar for the rest of the night at this place. Looks like I’m going to be a regular! ;P
